Travya is an AI travel platform built to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 tourism goals. It was a group project for an international hackathon, where it placed Top 25 Global Finalist out of 500+ teams.
Point your camera at any landmark and AI Lens recognises it instantly, with historical and cultural context. The AI plans personalised itineraries around your interests, time and budget, and smart hotel booking recommends where to stay. A gamified rewards system keeps travellers exploring, and everything works in 50+ languages with real-time translation.
My Role
I built the AI recommendation engine and the backend integration connecting it to the app — the part that turns a user's preferences into an actual itinerary.
